A free workout timer preset to a 30-minute session, with Repeat mode for rest periods between sets. The ring is big enough to read from the squat rack, and keyboard keys mean no sweaty thumb on a tiny phone button. Also searched as gym timer, exercise timer, rest timer for sets.

  4. Lift while the next countdown runs, then press Space to pause and reset on the next rest, or simply let it run as a pacing clock.

Timing the whole session

Leave this page at 30 minutes and start it when you begin the first working set. A glance at the ring shows whether you are dawdling between exercises. For longer sessions use the 45 minute timer or 1 hour timer. To measure how long a set or a run actually took, switch to the stopwatch and tap L for laps.
