Pomodoro timer
A no‑nonsense Pomodoro timer: 25 minutes of focus, a 5‑minute break, and a 15‑minute long break after every fourth session. The timer tells you which phase you are in, rings between phases, and waits for you to press Start so breaks never run away from you.
How to get the most out of it
- Pick one task per session and write it down before you press Start.
- Protect the block: close chat and email; the tab title shows the time left if you need it.
- Actually take the break. Stand up, look away from the screen, drink water.
- Count sessions, not hours. Four Pomodoros is a solid morning's work.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Pomodoro technique?
Work in focused 25‑minute sessions separated by 5‑minute breaks. After four sessions, take a longer 15‑minute break. The short, fixed blocks make starting easier and keep you from burning out.
Can I change the Pomodoro length?
The classic 25/5/15 split is built in. For other lengths, use the regular timer with Repeat ticked, or open a preset such as the 45 minute timer for longer blocks.
Does it track my sessions?
The counter shows which session of four you are on. Nothing is uploaded; everything stays in your browser.
